Just last week, a mere hint about a new T series Nokia handset managed to slip out through the Ovi Publisher Tool. Enthusiasts are now getting an actual peek at the Nokia T7-00 courtesy of PCPop, according to anIntoMobile post.

The device looks more like a slightly reworked N8 than anything else, although the pictures depict an 8MP image sensor which could possibly be called a downgrade when compared to the N8’s 12MP camera. Apparently, the previously reported Symbian^ 3 OS and 360 x 640p resolution touchscreen specifications are going to stick.

The pentaband 3G support is going to be ditched for China’s TD-SCDMA standard specification and there could be an ARM 11 700MHz processor working away at the core. Funnily enough, a snapshot of the back panel shows a label with ‘Nokia Nseries’ on it even though the handset in question is being bandied about as a T series model.
